1. Select event and register
Click on “CREATE YOUR REGISTRY” in the top menu and select the type of event. The “My Account” page is displayed. If you have already opened an account, log in using your access details; if you do not yet have an account click on “CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT". The actual registration process starts now. Then enter all the important information about your gift list on the page “CREATE A NEW GIFT LIST”. You are the “Registrant”, and you can enter any other person as the “Co-Registrant”. The friend or relation who is the “Co-Registrant” can receive and hold the gifts for you. Click on “CONTINUE” to complete your registration.

2. Confirmation email
There is no need to wait for your account to be confirmed or to log in with your access details after completing your online registration; you can start to write your gift list without further delay. You will still receive a confirmation email with your login details. We suggest you print out or save this list. Please note: filter software often classifies machine-produced electronic messages such as our confirmation of registration incorrectly as spam and sends it to the junk/spam folder. If you do not receive any emails from us in your incoming messages, then they will have been put in this folder.

3. Product selection and advice
When you have finished registering, you can start to choose gifts. Simply click “SELECT ITEMS FOR YOUR REGISTRY” to continue. We have divided our extensive tableware range into four product areas: “Dinnerware”, “Crystal”, “Cutlery” and “Accessories”. You will find these product categories in the top menu. Before putting products on your gift list, you can click on “WHAT DO I NEED” to seek advice from our “Registry Guide”. The “Registry Guide” tells bridal couples which and how many tableware products are suggested for a shared home. You can click on “See List” in the main menu or click on the list name at the top on the right (under “ACTIVE GIFT LIST”) at any time to see your current gift list.

4. Creating your gift list
It’s a good idea to start under the menu item “See List”. A screen is displayed with a summary of your current gift list. You will be able to see which gifts may already have been selected from which areas and how many have already been purchased. Let’s assume that you want to start with porcelain; click on “ADD DINNERWARE ITEMS”.

Our products are ordered by pattern, and the patterns are listed alphabetically. To add items in a particular pattern to your list, click on the picture or name of the pattern.
You do not need to transport ever single product to the list individually; you can enter the required numbers of your chosen items in a pattern and then click on “Add to Registry” to add them to the gift list in one move.

5. Product availability
The traffic light in the Registry tells you in real time whether a product is available or not. The green light means that the products are available; the red light indicates that delivery delays are currently to be expected. This availability information can change daily, and should not influence you in choosing the items to go on your gift list. It will usually suffice if you check the traffic light display for your chosen products a few weeks before your event, and contact us then if necessary.

6. Your gift list
While you are logged in, you can click on “See List” (on the right in the main menu) or click on the list name at top right (under “ACTIVE GIFT LIST”) to see your current gift list. Alternatively, you can go to “MY ACCOUNT” to display your list (My Lists).

Click on “Delete List” if you want to delete the current gift list; you can change the basic details (date of the event, delivery addresses etc.) under “Change Data”.

If you want to change the quantity of an item on your wish list, use backspace to delete the original quantity, then enter the new quantity and click on ”UPDATE REGISTRY”.

7. Your account
Once you have logged out, when you next log in again you will automatically be taken to “MY ACCOUNT”, where you will find links to all your gift lists and be able to call up (and amend if necessary) the personal details you entered on registration.

8. Inform friends and relations
You can tell friends and relations about your event and your virtual wish list any time you like. To do so, go to the option “SEND TO A FRIEND” on your gift list (e.g. via “See List”. We have limited the number of email recipients to 30 in order to prevent spamming. You can send out the 30 emails any number of times.

9. Your own invitation emails
If you want to use your own email program or web mail account to contact your event guests, we would suggest you send the direct link to your gift list or the surname under which you have registered. Copy the Internet address of your list from your browser's address bar, or go to “My Account”, move the mouse to your list name, right-click and select “Copy link”.

10. Completion program
If, contrary to expectations, any of the products on your gift list are not purchased before your event, then you have the option to purchase these items yourself after the event at a very appealing discount.

11. Find gift lists and purchase gifts
Enter the name of the person you wish to purchase a gift for, and who you know has an online gift list at Villeroy & Boch, on the right under “SEARCH GIFT LISTS”. You must register before you can make a purchase.
